Upon the formation of the Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Customs and U. S. Immigration were combined to form U. S. Customs and Border Protection. This coin commemorates that event. It is made in the shape of a CBP Officer Patch. One Side has the agency of U. S. Customs and Border Protection with a full color DHS Seal. The other side has a 3D image of a CBP Officer badge and the date CBP was established.
