This is a new U. S. Customs and Border Protection Officer Field Operations OFO Patch lapel pin.

Upon the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, U. S. Customs and U.S. Immigration was merged together to form U. S. Customs and Border Protection. Inspectors from these two agencies became known as CBP Officers

In early 2008, in an effort to further identify Field Operations Officers, A new patch was created for CBP Officers. This pin is a miniature replica of the new patch that is worn on CBP Officers Uniforms identifying them as part of the Office of Field Operations.

This pin would be a great addition to any pin collectors collection.
