This is a new U. S. Customs mini badge lapel pin.

U. S. Customs formed in 1789 and is the oldest law enforcement agency in the world. This pin is a miniature replica of the badge that is was worn by Customs Inspectors. U. S. Customs was under the Department of the Treasury prior to the formation of the Department of Homeland Security. Customs Inspectors are now known as Customs and Border Protection Officers.
